Cheri Harjo-Dobbs contributes her Labor Certification Application (aka PERM) expertise to the overall work of Relief Law. With over 25 years of immigration law experience, Cheri is a vital member of the Relief Law team.
In 1999, Cheri Harjo-Dobbs obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Legal Studies & American Jurisprudence from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. That same year, she began her career as a legal assistant at Quan, Burdette & Perez, P.C. (QBP) in Houston, Texas. In July 2000, Cheri was promoted to Supervisor of the Labor Certification Department at QBP. She left QBP in the summer of 2004 to spend time with her newborn son and his big brother.
From 2006 to 2011, Cheri worked at various firms in the Houston area before relocating. She later shared her knowledge at two firms from the end of 2011 through early 2017. She truly enjoys managing the dynamic labor certification (PERM) process and has helped many foreign nationals obtain permanent employment and residency in the U.S. throughout her career.
In her free time, Cheri enjoys spending time with her spouse and four sons, whose ages range from 13 to 23 years old. She has a passion for traveling and photography and has also spent the past seven years coaching basketball.
